To drive and deliver exceptional business performance to grow the trade finance & transaction banking portfolio through the provision of efficient business management, powerful leadership, team development and achievement of operational rigour excellence in all DBS branches. |

· Drive trade finance Sales through NTB (New To Bank) acquisition of trade finance clients in line with the annual budgets and targets set out for current branches.
· Manage Relationships of existing clients to deepen their wallet share & ensure regular client meetings to be to win client trust and business. To ensure quick implementation of the wins for fast realisation of revenues.
· Grow trade finance portfolio in line with trade finance budgets for the respective city. Monitor and strengthen risk management. Focus on identifying cross-sell opportunities for other products from within GTS and non- GTS products.
· Manage sales team / develop channel to deliver on the liabilities revenue budgets. Management to include monitoring, coaching and training of Team leaders/Sales Team. Referrals for hiring of appropriate staff, minimising attrition and maintaining motivation levels of the team is of high importance. To ensure that all client communication (client presentations/offer letters, etc) are of the highest standard. The teams would build over a period of time.
· Develop the market to identify and focus on appropriate market segments. This includes analysis of key requirements for different identified market segments and positioning DBS trade finance offerings to meet client requirements. Build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

· Develop Sales teams through proper market & client segmentation. Support new initiatives in driving the sales team through motivational programs & contests for performance. · Lead origination and execution of more complex/cross-divisional transactions. · Growth has to be achieved within permitted compliance guidelines (including following KYC norms) · Ensure value based targets are maintained along with targeted volumes. · Efficiently manage trade relationships for an assigned portfolio of existing and/or targeted customers. · Work in close alignment with BU RMs in identifying opportunities, expediting new client conversions, limit activations and deepening client relationships. · Maintain optimum utilization of approved limits to maximise revenues per customer. · Grow transaction throughout from client portfolio.
· Originate new to bank client relationships to grow and develop the trade portfolio through organised and disciplined calling plan. · Work closely with trade operations in ensuring seamless transaction execution to the satisfaction customer and improving customer experience. · Innovate/ Structure customised solutions to meet specific customer requirements and improve transaction yields. · Develop and implement early warning signals to mitigate credit related losses. · Work in partnership with cash team for effective cross-selling . - Effectively use other chosen/delegated initiatives for improving team performance standards and development.

Required Experience |
· Overall experience of 3-5 years post qualification, most of which should have been with a bank handling the Trade Product or Sales function. Hands on Trade Operations experience would be an advantage. |
Education / Preferred Qualifications |
· An MBA or Chartered Accountant or equivalent degree is preferable, with at least 4 years with banking/product knowledge & at least 2 years specifically in trade finance |
